The Steenberg Hotel, located in the magnificent foothills of the Stone Mountains, 20 minutes from the center of Cape Town, South Africa, and Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the midst of the spectacular Kruger National Park, have golfers in mind for a super summer interlude that includes almost everything at the low rate of $2,210 per person sharing for five nights between May 1 and September 30, 2012.

Jam-packed with diversity, here’s a vacation slanted toward golfers and their families. At the Steenberg, each person will spend two nights in a Standard Luxury Room with a hot South African breakfast daily, a three course dinner in one of Steenberg’s award-winning restaurants, a wine tasting and cellar tour at Steenberg’s winery and a choice of a round of golf on the Steenberg’s championship golf course or a 50 minute massage in the Ginkgo Spa.

Lukimbi provides three nights in a classic suite with all meals, teas and coffee, two game drives per day, a nature walk in the Bush, “sundowner” drinks and refreshments on the evening game drives, and a round of golf at the nearby exclusive Leopard Creek Country Club on a course designed by renowned golfer Gary Player.

The Steenberg offers exquisite hospitality, wonderful wines, exceptional golf and a sumptuous spa in stunning scenic beauty. The hotel, established in 1682, is set on one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms. The destination combines the peace and serenity of exquisite accommodation among vineyards, an award-winning winery, and 18-hole championship golf course.
