Golf at the Woodstock Inn & Resort has teed off for the 2012 season with the re-opening of Woodstock’s top-rated 18-hole golf course designed by legendary course architect, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The course, which was effected by Hurricane Irene last fall, has been refurbished to its award-winning status with 51 new sand traps, six new golf cart bridges and pristine greens. This summer and fall the Woodstock Inn & Resort invites guests to perfect their swing with two special unlimited golfing packages available now through Oct. 31.

The Heritage Unlimited Golf Package allows golf enthusiasts to play till they turn green with unlimited golf at The Resort's Golf Club, one night luxury accommodation, golf cart, breakfast for two, complimentary use of the practice facility and a yardage booklet

Rates start at $280 per room, based on double occupancy excluding applicable taxes and resort fee.

The Learn to Golf Package is for those who either need a refresher or haven’t teed up and includes one hour private lesson for two, unlimited golf, one night luxury accommodation, golf cart, breakfast for two, complimentary use of the practice facility and one yardage booklet

Rates start at $478 per room, based on double occupancy, excluding applicable taxes and resort fee.

With picturesque views, challenging sequences of fairways, sand traps and water hazards guaranteed to test even the most seasoned golfer this par-70 course has been recognized as a “Top 100 Golf Resort" by Golf Magazine. The Woodstock Inn & Resort Golf Club includes a practice range, practice green, putting green, fully equipped Pro Shop, golf carts, and a professional staff to provide in-depth instruction. The Fairway Grille at The Golf Club offers seasonal dining overlooking the golf course and surrounding scenic vistas.
After a friendly or competitive round of golf guests are encouraged to enjoy the resort facilities including the 10,000 square-foot LEED-certified spa, offering a nature-inspired ambiance and featuring nourishing treatments with organic products.

The Racquet & Fitness Club, with indoor and outdoor tennis courts, racquetball courts, a 30-by-60 foot indoor lap pool, a whirlpool, workout equipment and a steam room and sauna is another way to relax.
